Tankstar 260 Series Marine Liquid Level Transmitter

Tankstar 260 Series Marine Liquid Level Transmitter

The Tankstar 260’s marine liquid level transmitter rugged all-welded construction provides reliable and accurate hydrostatic pressure-based tank level measurement of liquid levels in the harsh environments of shipboard tanks, from military vessels to tankers.

Zero and Span adjustment controls located on the remote amplifier allow adjustment without the need to access the tank.

The Tankstar 260 transmitter employs a pressure sensitive diaphragm whose displacement in response to the liquid pressure is precisely measured by an L.V.D.T. The resulting output is converted to 4-20mA by the remote amplifier. The design combines excellent responsiveness and long-term stability.  The liquid level transmitter has the sensitivity needed to accurately measure shallow tanks but will withstand a minimum of 5 Bar overload without damage. The all welded and submersible sensor is manufactured from high-grade alloys specifically selected for their stability and corrosion resistance. A wide choice of fittings and the ability to remotely mount the amplifier maximises installation flexibility and serviceability.

The 260 series level transmitter is marine approved and maintenance free. A factory sealed cable is supplied with a heavy-duty outer sheath of cross-linked polymers, suitable for continuous immersion in seawater, fuels and hydrocarbons. This cable permits use of the sensor between temperature limits of -40°C to +105°C for safe area installations
