Marine Inclinometer

Marine Inclinometer

Our marine inclinometers are designed to measure tilt angles (inclination) relative to a fixed x, y, or z axis. Essential for marine tank gauging, these ship inclinometers ensure accurate tank content measurements by correcting for vessel trim and heel deviations from the 0° position.

Reliable Performance with Seamless Modbus Integration

Featuring a robust, solid-state single-axis digital inclinometer, this device provides precise tilt angle measurements across a full 360° range. Its innovative design makes it rugged, compact, and user-friendly, offering unmatched reliability for demanding marine environments.

The marine inclinometer calculates tilt angles by detecting acceleration via integrated solid-state accelerometers. Data is transmitted using Modbus, enabling seamless integration into the Scanjet PSM Central Monitoring System. This data is combined with tank level sensor measurements to adjust for vessel trim and heel, delivering corrected and precise tank gauging results.

Key Features

• Accuracy and Dependability – Solid-state technology eliminates the need for periodic maintenance or calibration.
• Built for Tough Conditions – Engineered for durability, ensuring a long operational lifespan.
• Seamless Integration – Directly interfaces with the Scanjet PSM Marine Tank Gauging System.
